Case Study:
Ala Drive A-Frame
Q1-Q3 2018
Owners needed a comprehensive refresh following eviction of problem tenants. Interior and exterior surfaces, two full bathrooms, multiple bedrooms, a sunroom, and the entire landscaping footprint all required attention.

This distinctive A-frame sits in an established South Knoxville neighborhood known for its character homes. It had a solid rental history, but years of deferred maintenance and a difficult final tenancy left the property needing significant work before it could go to market.
Â
Inside, both ground-floor bathrooms were renovated. Three bedrooms across two floors received new paint, updated lighting, and fresh carpet. The second-floor bathroom was updated and painted. The sunroom — renovated in a prior cycle — got a deep clean, new paint, new doors, and an HVAC service.

Outside, all decks, steps, exterior doors, and trim were pressure washed, then painted or stained. Overgrown trees and shrubs were removed or cut back across the property.
Â
Large bed areas were cleared, fitted with landscape cloth, and finished with fresh mulch.
Â
The project came in on schedule. The home listed shortly after completion and sold to a family who recognized exactly what made the property worth buying.
